Grow as a dancer
We provide regularly scheduled classes designed for total beginners to intermediates. Advanced courses are also occasionally offered.
To gain a strong foundation in blues aesthetic and movement, join our beginner-centric monthly class that occurs from 7–7:45pm on the last Tuesday of each month at Falcon Bowl in Riverwest. A vintage swing jazz band plays live music from 8–10pm. Both the lesson and band event are free to join, but tips for the band are highly encouraged to help keep the event going.
Once you feel comfortable with the basics and have started to work on idioms and more advanced self-styling, you are invited to join the intermediate lesson that occurs monthly at different residences of our dancer friends.
July Blues Dancing Social
Join us for our monthly blues dance—this time held at the iconic Uptowner bar in Riverwest.
This monthly social is Milwaukee's only authentic blues dancing event. Whether you come to join, watch, or just vibe to the blues music, we welcome you! Join at 8pm for the free blues dancing lesson before the music starts.
